Jennifer Clair of

In may well 2002, Jennifer Clair founded house Cooking New York after years of operating within the culinary industry. Ahead of launching her own boutique cooking school, she worked as a Recipe Editor for The Wall Street Journal and as a Food Editor at Martha Stewart Living (MSL), where she developed cookbooks and managed the Cooking & Entertaining department of Marthastewart.Com. Just before MSL, she worked inside the cookbook division of William Morrow & business at Saveur magazine. She graduated from Peter Kump's New York Cooking School (now, The Institute of Culinary Education) in 1998 after receiving a full James Beard Foundation scholarship.
Just before moving to NYC, she was the Catering Manager of the Tabard Inn in Washington, DC. She began her culinary career as the assistant to well-known cookbook author and food historian Joan Nathan.
Holly shelowitz
Holly is a Certified Nutrition Counselor and entire Foods Educator. She has been tboth and everying cooking classes and nutrition workshops through the Hudson Valley and in Manhattan since 1999. She may well be a graduate of The Institute of Integrative Nutrition and teach and everyes classes in the Natural Gourmet Institute for Food and wellness in Manhattan. She leads cooking demonstrations at Farmers Markets and encourages folks to acquire local food during the increasing season to celebrate the bounty we have right here in our community. Her classes inspire participants to appreciate the creativity and enjoyable of cooking so they're excited to get into the kitchen and get pleapositive from delicious food.
